The Nigerian Police have confirmed that having sex in a car is not a crime in Nigeria as long as certain guidelines are fully observed.
The police further disclosed that members of the public who may be harassed or threatened by security operatives for such an act are free to report such to the Police Complaint Rapid Response Unit (PCRRU) for further action.
The declaration follows inquiries from a concerned individual on Twitter who decided to seek clarification from a top police officer, ACP Abayomi Shogunle who is also head of the PCRRU unit of the Nigerian Police.
