Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea on Saturday, December 2 defeated visiting Newcastle United 3-1 in a tough Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge.

Super Eagles forward Victor Moses made a return to the Blues’ first team, and he did not disappoint Chelsea’s faithfuls as he provided the assist for the second goal.

Chelsea responded 9 minute later when Cesar Azpilicueta supplied a wonderful pass for Belgian star Eden Hazard to restore parity for the Blues.

The hosts scored their second goal in the 33rd minute when Nigerian striker Victor Moses delivered a fantastic cross for Spanish forward Alvaro Morata to score with his head.

Victor Moses was again the problem for Newcastle United when he was fouled by Matt Ritchie in the box, and the referee gave Chelsea a penalty scored by Eden Hazard for Chelsea to win the match 3-1.
